Place was exceptional, really enjoyed the stay.
I had a pleasant experience here, everything was very clean, the location was perfect close to parting as well as the pier. Bright, compact room with lovely view.
-
Location was brilliant very near sea front, staff were wonderful, everything was neat throughout. I got free upgrade and liked it. Lovely breakfast with a wide array of fab foods. The service was great too.
-
All in all the stay was restful, we would come here again. The room was cleaned during our stay and available with big windows.

It was a such great stay. The staff was reasonably good and location was spectacular! Neat and designer hotel in Kemptown district. The breakfast was enjoyable, I enjoyed cereals, fruit and breads.
Facilities were adequate, nevertheless Wi-Fi was slow.

Public parking and good breakfast. For dinner, we went to sawadee thai restaurant, it was just walking distance from the venue.

By and large, it was comfortable base for sightseeing in Brighton, had much fun. So close to the downtown, 5 minutes on foot. Truly enjoyed on-site restaurant New Steine Bistro. Coffee facilities and television were a nice touch: D

The hotel itself is LUXURY, we liked rooms and staff. It was not far from Brighton Beach.
Nothing atall.

It was claimed that the hotel had wireless internet but it didn't work for me in either my room or even the central dining room since though I connected ok it always had 'limited or no connectivity'. I overheard another two guests at different times asking hotel staff if the wireless internet was working. After the first day I bought a Vodaphone wireless stick for £30 which worked fine but cost me money I hadn't anticipated spending and left me rather more than disappointed. On one day there was no hot water at all from the evening thru' the next morning so I wound up having a cold shower. There were a few other minor gripes but having to spend £30 to get what I expected to be provided and was a specific requirement of booking was key.

Great little hotel with a really good breakfast. This was my second stay there this time I took my children who were made very welcome. I will be staying there again. Really good value.
Bathrooms are quite small.

Really nice service,I lost my iPod there, and the people in the hotel send it back just I phone them to told I forgot it in the room. Service is grate, the restaurant they recommend to me is sooooooo delicious . And it near the beach, I can lay on my bed and see the sea. Grate Membery there~

Hotel well positioned for beach and town. Bar and dining areas very attractive and comfortable. Excellent breakfast - nicely cooked, good quality food and a good choice including vegetarian fry up and pancakes. Friendly staff.
Our room was at the top of the hotel - felt like 3 beds had been squashed into an attic space. Because of the layout, couldn't watch tv comfortably from anywhere in the room. Bathroom was adequate but small and shut behind folding doors with no lock.Seemed expensive compared to a Premier Inn type hotel which would offer a better standard of room for less money..

The room was clean, well equiped, with good quality wash room. It is an old building, which made it interesting, and the decor was a bit unusual. The staff were very pleasant, and helpful regarding the car parking arrangements, and providing city maps on arrival. The breakfast was very good quality, locally sourced produce, and there was plenty.
We were on the top floor, so there were I think five flights of stairs, which could not be helped, but some might have found this a problem. It would have been nice to have had a sea view, but on the top floor, the building has a high rampart which obscures all view, and some light. Again, not something that can be helped, but some might be bothered i guess. One thing that they could inprove on is to offer decaff coffee, as they don't either in the room, or at breakfast. We were offered a hot chocolate instead, which was OK, but if you want decaff coffee, suggest you bring some with you!

The room was very clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also good and convenient to get given parking vouchers for nearby for £5 for 24 hours.
Dissapointed by the location of the room, was on the top floor and view was of a wall approx 1 metre away from the windows therefore very claustrophobic and the rate for this room did not appear to be any cheaper. I feel that I should have been informed at booking as I wouldn't have wanted to pay £80 for a room which I couldn't see out of a window even onto a back street.

Quiet, unpretentious comfortable accommodation with good food and very helpful and pleasant staff in a historic setting close to the sea.
Should mention no lift on booking info.
